Pro Rosia Montana NGO was founded in order to help each honest habitant of Rosia Montana and not only, to fight for a better future, for them and for their children.
We are determined to go on and to see Rosia Montana Mining Project implemented here. We want to keep the beauty of our village without any compromise and we want to live here united, happy as a community. That is our vision, that is our hope, and we will not give up.
Since roman times, our main activity was and it still remains mining. This is why we consider we are mature enough to decide by ourselves our future. We want a sustainable, long-term development for Rosia Montana through the mining project proposed by RMGC.
We know very well how the gold will be extracted, what cyanide means, how the environment should look after the mine will be closed, we know how to take care of ourselves and not at least, we are able to welcome with open arms those who are open-minded and do not want to destroy our region.
